Super CDW
The mentioned values on this sheet are subject to the legal tax 21% (VAT) and can be changed without further notice. Insurances and extrasCollision Damage Waiver (CDR) (incl.) In case of an accident, collision or overturn, the customer is liable for losses or damages caused to the vehicle up to the amount of the deductible. CDR coverage waives this liability and implies the prior acceptance of an additional fee. Whenever there is an accident, imputable to the customer’s responsibility, the damages up to the value of the Minimum Deductible are charged to the customer. Window Damage Waiver (WDW) € 4.84 per day, maximum of € 76.60 (VAT Included) on Economy and Compact cars. € 9.08 per day, maximum of € 136.13 (VAT Included) on Intermediate and all other cars. Teft Protection (TPR) (Incl.) In case of Theft of the vehicle and / or its parts, the renter will be held responsible, up to the value of the deductible, which may be waived by previously accepting an additional charge for TPR. The customer will always be charged for damages caused to the vehicle up to the value of the Minimum Deductible. Road Tax Fee ( RDT ) (Incl.) It will be charged a daily charge up to a maximum of 15 days per rental. Personal Accidents Insurance (PAI) (Charge) Maximum cover for renter and each passenger: Loss of life and disablement € 12,500, medical expenses € 1,250. Minimum Deductible Waiver (SCDW) (Charge) Possibility to waive the Minimum Deductible, by accepting an additional daily charge if CDR and / or TPR are accepted. Airport Service Charge (ASF) (Incl.) This charge will be applied if the vehicle is picked-up at any Airport location. One Way Fee (OWF) (Only allowed on 3 or more days rentals) The customer might be charged if returns the car on a different area from the one of the pick-up. Dellivery & Collections (D&C) (Charge) This service is available subject to confirmation, for city limits and for outside city limits. Out Of Hours (Charge) € 36.30 (VAT Included). For pick-up or drop-off after normal working hours this charge will be applied. Only available for stations in the airports and subject to previous confirmation. GPS Portable Systems € 12.10 per day, maximum of € 121.00 per rental (VAT Included) Roof-Rack N/A Grace Period (Charge) An extra of 59 min. term (based on the pick-up hour) is allowed for the vehicle return. Otherwise an extra day will be charged. Refuelling Charge Vehicles are delivered with a full tank and should be returned in the same conditions. If not, we will charge the gasoline shortage with an additional charge for the service of refuelling the car. Mileage, Third Party Insurance, Collision Damage Waiver, Theft Protection as well all local taxes and fees. Pleas read the prices details for further information. One rental day is based on 24 hours from time of pick up. If the car is returned later than it was picked up, an additional day will be charged. In case of a season change during the rental period the price valid on the commencement date will apply. Rate calculation: Europa rental week = 7 days, extensions will be caharged at an additional day Rate (exceptions, see price list). Rates are subject to change without prior notice. The price confirmed on reservation ia a guaranteed fixed price, not incl. additional services which have to be paid local on arrival Insurance: Insurance coverrage for the vehicle rented incl. TPI which usually covers up to 1 Mio and is incl. in the rate. CDW insurance covers damages caused by the driver or damages which are not covered by a third party or reduces the non-waiverable rsponsibility that remains depending on the country. Damages to the vehicle bottom, tires, glass, as well the loss or damage of the car keys are not coverd by CDW. Damages caused by negligence, drunkenness, under the affection of drugs and / or driving on unpaved roads are also not covered in any case. TP only covers the loss of the vehicle - it does not cover the loss of any items left inside the car. At the destination hirer it is possible to accept additional insurances e.g. PAI for those insurances the local rate and conditions will apply. Reservation: Simply book your car through our reservation center. The Voucher serves as confirmation for the reservation and payment must be presented when picking up the car at the local rental station. Deposit: On picking up the car a deposit in form of a credit card has to be placed (in case the car is returned with an empty tank or the rental period has been extended) Cash-deposits or Eurocheque-Cards are generally not excepted. Pick up of vehicle: Reservations can only be confirmed car groups, the stated car typ only serves as an example for the size of the car. Certainly we will do our utmost to give you the model you required. Pick-up out of hours is only possible on request, a fee may appl. Minimum age: The minimum age for the driver is 21 years, but these conditions may vary from country to country. The driver must be in the posseassion a valid driver license (class 3, class b or euronorm) for at least one year (in some countries for tow years). A maximum age may apply in some countries. One Way / Cross border rental: One way rentals and cross-border rentals are generally permitted, but have to be notified at the time of reservation. For detailed information please contact our reservation center. Fuel: Vehicles will contain a full tankof fuel at the start of rental and should be returned full, otherwise the client will be charged for the missing fuel amount. A refuelling charge may apply. Cancellation / Changes: No service charges will apply for changes of date, duration or vehicle category. No money will be reimbursed for early returns, late pick-up or now-shows. Any changes made from pick up time ( extension of the rental period, up grades, child seats ) will be charged locally and are subject to the general conditions of rental company at the destination. If you want to extend your rental period prior to drop-off please advise us. Cancellations can only be excepted in writing and must be handed in at least one day prior to pick-up, cancellations can not be made directly. They must be made with our partners. Credit card security deposit:When you rent a car in Portugal a pre-authorization is required for the EXCESS/ DEDUCTIBLE amount of the vehicle (See EXCESS/ DEDUCTIBLE VALUES ). To avoid any responsability on this EXCESS we recomend that you buy the SUPER CDW. If a pre-authorization is not left then the purchase of aditional insurances are mandatory to reduce the EXCESS to a minimum. If the EXCESS is not reduced to zero a pre-authorization is required for the reduced excess amount. You will also be asked to leave a security deposit for a full tank of fuel as all cars come FULL of gasoline or diesel depending of the car type .Even with SUPER CDW and even on small rentals please make sure your credit card has at least 500 euros credit line |
